Hunter Gun Sounds

Being stuck with the default gun sounds for hunter can be truly annoying, especially if you end up with a gun for raiding. You can easily replace these files in the wow directory with anything you want, actually!

This will also change how other hunter's guns sound to you as well, which is nice if you have one of those annoying things in your raid.

Attached below are a few sound packs to try and instructions on how to extract them to the right location in your wow directory:

Navigate to the following directory within your World of Warcraft Folder:

World of Warcraft > Data > Sound > Item > Weapons > Gun

If these folders are not in your WoW directory to start, you can simply add them in manually by creating folders.

After doing that, simply drag and drop the sound files downloaded below into folder you opened/created. Boom. Done. It should look like this when finished:

Silencer Pack

This is my favorite pack. The sounds have a nice low frequency thump and feel good. The video has installation instructions for classic, ignore those and follow the path above, but the files themselves will work fine.

Star Wars Blaster Pack

This pack is hilarious! I think you might go crazy if you had this on all the time, but it's fun to try anyways. Make sure to ignore the instructions on the WowInterface page and follow the instructions and directory given at the top of this page.

Blammo! Pack

This pack has a lot of character but it. It has a bunch of bass which is good, it adds a nice thump to each shot. Make sure to ignore the instructions on the WowInterface page and follow the instructions and directory given at the top of this page.

Guns Sound Like Bows Pack

This pack does exactly what it says. It makes the guns sound exactly like bows. Make sure to ignore the instructions on the WowInterface page and follow the instructions and directory given at the top of this page.

M1 Pack (AKA MURICA!)

This pack does exactly what it says. It makes the guns sound exactly like bows. Make sure to ignore the instructions on the WowInterface page and follow the instructions and directory given at the top of this page.
